First, we use a level to determine the low points of your patio. The low areas are usually fairly obvious by the presence of standing water against the aluminum track of your lanai, as well as an accumulation of dirt or mold when the patio is dry. Once the areas that need drainage are identified, the bottom track of your lanai is loosened in several spots and a "U-Shaped" channel is cut out of the track on both the inside and outside with a Dremel tool. Next, a plastic drain is inserted into the channel and secured in place with color matching screws and silicone sealant. Finally, the channel is re-secured to the patio.
The cost of installation varies depending on the complexity of the job, but a basic installation on a paver or concrete deck on ground level with no obstructions is $110.00 per drain, installed.
We provide free estimates before beginning any work.
Yes, patio drains are currently available in bronze and white and are installed with color matching screws and silicone sealant.
Each drain takes approximately 30-45 minutes to install.
As long as we have access to the inside of your lanai, you do not need to be home while patio drains are being installed. An outside power receptacle is always helpful for us to plug in an extension cord, but not necessary.
